Project Description:

KMB is collaborating with Hummel Architects to design and construct the new Canyon County Sheriff’s Office and Law Enforcement building. This 83,844 SF building will consolidate various departments of the Sheriff’s Office under one roof. The first floor features a secure parking garage with 36 spots, a records office, a SWAT garage, and county work release administration. On the second floor, there will be a warrant office, a 1,700+ SF Emergency Operations Center, a 1,900+ SF 911 dispatch call center, a multi-function classroom, and a hand-to-hand training room. The third floor is dedicated to the Sheriff’s command staff, administrative offices, the investigations department, and patrol offices. The design also allows for future expansion, with 4,500 SF of shell space available on the third floor. Amenities in the building include a spacious break room on the third floor, connected by a large stairway to the second floor. The second floor also contains large locker rooms for staff and a fitness area located next to the classroom and training room. Additionally, there are decompression and quiet rooms on each level for staff use.
