An innovator and thought leader in justice and behavioral health facilities design, Partner Greg Cook brings a focused perspective to KMB architects informed by 20 years of experience delivering projects throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia. Greg believes in serving communities and is committed to architecture that supports restorative justice and treatment in secure environments, delivered through a lens of sustainable and biophilic design. In addition to his design and facilitation work, he has written and spoken extensively on trauma-responsive design concepts.

Greg has made meaningful contributions to the profession through service with the AIA’s Academy of Architecture for Justice (AAJ) Knowledge Community, which included a five-year tenure as a member of the Leadership Group. His service included work to update the AIA Code of Ethics related to justice facilities design and serving as liaison to the jury committee for the Justice Facilities Review Awards. Greg continues to provide service through mentorship and leadership at KMB , where he is working with the firm to evolve and elevate the design process through his inclusive and collaborative leadership style.
