Jason Ramay, AIA, LEED AP

Designer, Thought Leader, Trusted, Welcoming, Hardworking, a Difference Maker.

A master’s education in architecture and 21 years of experience have developed Jason into a firm leader and the professional architect that he is today. He is the go-to principal at KMB for his expertise in public safety projects, security projects and so much more.  He is that rare individual that uses both sides of his brain, equally, and at a very high level. Jason is immensely creative as a designer of KMB’s architecture projects and deftly focused as a project manager of KMB’s most sophisticated electronic security projects.  Jason’s clients recognize him as a trusted source of information with innovative and creative ideas. At KMB, he is constantly teaching others how to turn creativity into reality. Repeat commissions have  given Jason the opportunity to demonstrate and replicate project success.

An undergraduate education in philosophy and art set the stage for his choice of a career in architecture. Architecture carries a special meaning for Jason. “Great architecture” says Jason, is an expression of beauty and meaning. Jason stays busy outside of architecture volunteering, fishing a good trout stream, and watching his sons playing soccer and baseball.

Today the most satisfying projects for Jason are those that create significant positive changes in clients’ working or living environment. Whether it’s a community college campus within a state penitentiary, or an art installation in a community space, Jason believes great design solutions emerge from the unique challenges each project presents. He brings detailed knowledge of the design, staffing, and operational issues of justice and law enforcement facilities. A strong designer, his expertise includes planning, facility programming, project budget estimating and construction administration. His sincerity and affable nature make him a sought-after leader for projects with many stakeholders.
