Edward Schilter, RA

Team Builder. Client Advocate. Mentor. Manager. Passionate, Committed. Respected.

These traits are exemplified with every project entrusted to Ed’s leadership.

With over 40 years of experience, Ed understands what it takes to produce successful projects.  Ed consistently earns repeat commissions for KMB due to his design talent, adept and organized form of project management.  Ed’s leadership assures that your project is kept “on the right track” minimizing the need for redesign and changes to the project direction.  Ed provides consistent results for KMB’s clients with the added benefit of accomplishment for the contractors and consultants involved.

Ed has forged a reputation of quality, value and performance.  He understands that the success of a project is not a chance occurrence.  Ed invests his skills for each of his clients with careful planning, visioning, selecting the right team of consultants and inviting all stakeholders to work collaboratively for project success.

Ed grew up on a dairy farm owned and operated by Swiss immigrant parents.  There was never a lack of work to be done and a culture of “nothing ever goes to waste” was compulsory. This was his introduction to sustainability and innovative use (and re-use) of what was at hand to solve the project needs that are always a part of a farming operation.  At an early age, Ed showed an affinity and passion for building projects.  Through encouragement from his family he turned this passion into a successful architectural career.  He takes great joy in helping clients discover their project’s true needs, designing the best way to address them, and then helping them see the vision to fruition. Ed is highly praised by clients for outstanding communication, schedule development, budget compliance and design quality.
