Principal architect Craig McClelland leads KMB’s Architects for commercial, gaming and hospitality projects.   With 30 years of experience, Craig consistently delivers excellence in design in an efficient cost effective package.  New clients quickly discover his mastery of the business of architecture and his ability to bring value to their project. Existing clients provide repeat commissions due to their experience and respect for Craig’s design talent, cost effective approach and consistent on-time project delivery. Craig is committed to “doing whatever it takes” to surpass client expectations.  His resume includes several multi-million dollar casino developments, event centers, parking garages and hotels for the flourishing Indian gaming industry.  Craig has developed a specialty in the delivery of projects for Native American clients throughout the Pacific Northwest and has a deep history of experience for commercial, retail, and health care projects.

At an early age, Craig was drawn to exploring the world of architecture supplementing his masters in architecture education with “hands-on” construction experience. He has reported great satisfaction designing his own home and continues to reward his family with innovative remodeling projects.

Embracing the role of architects as “problem-solvers”, Craig is a service oriented and hard-working architect. The consummate professional, he sets the bar high for his work ethic, productive client meetings and efficient and beautiful final designs.  Understanding and meeting code requirements.  Craig adds considerable value assisting KMB’s clients with construction contract bidding, negotiations, construction administration, and project closeout.  Craig’s primary goal is to make the client’s design and construction journey a fun and rewarding experience.
