Project Description:

Building 3 was part of the Rowe Six Business Park, and was once used as an office building before being acquired by South Puget Sound Community College. KMB architects worked with South Puget Sound Community College to further develop the Lacey Campus property, to provide course offerings to students in the area outside of the primary campus and further the Colleges goals for sustainability. When completed, Building 3 will house the Advanced Manufacturing Center on the ground floor, and the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction Technology (AECT) program on the second floor. The program includes conversion of the old office building to provide manufacturing studio, computer labs and large classrooms which accommodate learning for these unique programs. Significant improvements were made to modernize the building including upgrades to Mechanical/Electrical systems to create a more efficient building.
